Getting an education shouldnt cost a shitload.

Compared to many I have been pretty lucky as to be able to pay for my classes and books specifically because I recieve financial aid, but I just recently got financial aid. With these cuts to higher education, it became alot harder to meet the deadline to pay for the classes people need to take. When I started attending foothill in the fall I chose 3 classes and the cost of those classes were about 400 not including the books I would have to buy which would cost I think 250 and not to forget the entry fee and all that rubbish. I had to borrow money from my parents and they baraly had any to give me. I managed to pay for the classes before they dropped me and bought the books half of the second week in, by then I was already a bit behind. Not to mention that these cuts are also affecting the size of the classes, now classes are filled with students, not 20 but 30. And it is harder to keep everyone in check because teachers must move on quick in order to get the information across and there is less 1 on 1 because there are too many students for 1 teachers to concentrate there effort on and as a result some end up not doing well. These cuts are affecting our education, we are the future, the ones to come up with the solution to the problems many face today, and the one way we could do that is if we stop these cuts and improve the education for us as students to succeed and help this country with our ideas.
